MailTemplates is operated by Modex Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 30 630 513 183, ACN 630 513 183), trading as MODEX (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

Account details (name, work email, organisation name, role), a salted and hashed password (we never store your password), the email templates your organisation creates (names, subjects, recipients, body content), and basic usage information such as last sign-in time.

What we do not collect

The MailTemplates add-in does not read your mailbox, your inbox or the emails you write. It only inserts a template into the message you are composing, and reads your display name and email address to fill merge fields like {{myName}} on your device.

How we use it

To provide and secure the service, support your organisation, and bill your organisation. We do not sell personal information.

Where it is stored

In Microsoft Azure data centres (Australia, unless we tell you otherwise). Each organisation’s templates are logically separated from every other organisation’s.

Retention and deletion

We keep data while your subscription is active. Contact us to export or delete your organisation’s data.
